Starting 5 Apparel designs, manufactures, and distributes men’s, young men’s, boy’s and little boys sportswear. We service some of the biggest and best retailer’s in America. Our styles offer a “price/value relationship” that affords our retail partners a fine product with increased gross profit. We carry a full line of our own “stocked merchandise” and manufacture “programs” that work at retail. Starting 5 Apparel channels of distribution, including mid-tier department Stores, specialty stores, discounters and mass merchants. We manufacture in China, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Egypt as specific fabric and styles relate to our individual customer needs.

Whether Sportswear/Activewear/cutting edge fashion or price sensitive “basics”, Starting 5 Apparel delivers a well-made garment at exceptionally low prices. Whether fabric trends or updated styling is needed, we try and work, “one step ahead” of our retail partners ever changing needs. Our design team, based in our NYC midtown showroom travels the world to bring the right looks to America’s retailers. We warehouse holding two positions, one in New Jersey and one in California. We have a “quick response” team that can take an order and dependent on need, ship in under 48 hours. We are “ever growing”, learning and reaching for top level performance, which in this day and age, is tantamount in reaching success.

OUR BRANDS
Our company name attached to active shorts in multiple fabrics: closed hole mesh, scuba fabric with pop color with elastic waist for comfort and performance. Tops in both short sleeve and long sleeve Crews and Henley models for the “athleisure young man or performance driven athlete”. It’s about “fit and purpose” and our heritage brand covers it all. This and a “price/value relationship” meet to give our retail customer affordable and up to date active looks.
SIlver Needle is the man’s brand that offers checks in tried and true pattern work: small 2 color checks, tartan looks in both short and long sleeve and prints that say a contemporary man is wearing it. We utilize basic models adding a clean and soft “lightly worn” garment look in utility shorts and bottoms. Men’s looks in print tops are growing and our line of men’s product reflect that. Who says men’s cloths have to look staid and conservative ?? We turn men’s looks “on their heads” to show a contemporary and up to date user.
Utility shorts in rip stop and soft hand twills rule the day. Attention to detail in comfort “rugby blocked tops” with up to date graphics are both here for this Fall and in lighter weights for Spring 2020. Embroidery on color blocking, woven collars on heavy jersey bodies all in these updated rugby staples to be worn on the field or at the BBQ at the neighbors house.
RESET is our young men’s brand, catering to the “now and ever changing” world of today’s fashion. We utilize stretch fabric in most all our Joggers, Pants and Shorts. Tonal embellishments have come to the forefront – simply saying “softly worn but clean” looks rule for Fall 2019 and into Spring 2020. Paint splatter, utility fabrics/looks in clean and soft tones, elastic waist bottoms and for Spring 20, sublimation florals in tops. Textured fabrics sell at retail, simple styling with a soft hand feel in stripes and solid tops. Retro polo models, quarter zips with up to date taping rule the day.
